All X1-EH tools benefit from YG-1’s well-established C-Coating, and all new tools below 6mm benefit from the same improved substrate. Also, all shanks below 6mm keep the high accuracy h4 shank to further emphasize the superiority of X1-EH.

To improve surface quality, the 4-, 6- and 8-flute square and corner radius milling cutters feature unequal flute indexing to minimize vibration. A multiple helix version in the 4-flute square and corner radius tools further suppresses undesirable harmonics to improve tool life.

All ball nose variations feature all flutes coming to center (center match), allowing for faster feed rates with better surface finishes.
